Owl Pillow Case!
After getting a new couch in December I have been in need of new pillows for it. One day in the fabric store I saw this adorable fabric with owls and, well, do I really need to explain why I bought it? It might be a little childish, but I don’t care. I think it is perfect.
Oh! - and I added a button because I am addicted to them.

Summer Term!
Term ends today. Students may post in threads already established, but are asked not to post in any new threads in the summer term.
Next term will start Monday the 21st of January.
We would like to congratulate Hogwarts Graduates.
If you wish for your character to be a Prefect next term please PM Spring and she’ll make it happen. A character must as per canon be a 5th year student, before being a Prefect.Usually, Spring post a few lines from Alice Cooper’s ‘School’s Out’, but this time Winter sneaked in and changed it to HSM2’s ‘What Time Is It?’ though only here on Tumblr.
Have fun, students!

Our hostel of doom
This was wrong about our hostel:
- Dirty-looking walls
- Dirty-looking carpet
- Pink walls with red carpet and yellow curtains. Nothing really matches.
- Toilets are tiny and look kind of creepy. I don’t trust the lock. Will make for nice showers……. well Mia got her free shower-show the first day.
- The closet door is kind of on the floor. And it kind of looks like someone pulled it off. By force. Someone was maaaaad….
- The power cords are - well I was worried that Mia would get strangled by one. Kind of hanging over her bed - she’s the lucky one.
- No credit cards accepted. I mean we’re students - we don’t carry that much cash.
- The mattress is well….. no comment.
- Pillows. Well a piece of paper would kind of be the same.
- The kitchen could be bigger, but people in it are nice
Things that are nice here and make us happy
- The manger is nice. He gave us juice! And he thinks I’m like family, because I speak Arabic - always a bonus to make someone happy by a language
- The underground is very very very very very close by.
- We won’t die of hunger since we’re surrounded by restaurants.
- Mia likes the ceiling. Line isn’t too sure and Hanin is too lazy to turn her head and look.
- There’s a bed.
- We have our own sink.
- Clean, dry, fluffy towel in the bathroom.
- The breakfast could have been worse, though it could have been better too. Norway was worse.
- The kitchen is nice and hyggeligt.
- Shower was niiiiiiiice
- Chocolate croissants are awesome!
- Free wi-fi
- The room has worn out ugly brown male complimentary slippers under Mia’s bed.
- They aren’t strict about kitchen opening time closing it when there aren’t any people left.
- Meeting random people in the kitchen.
This list will be followed by a list of things that went wrong and a list of things we learned. Beware. We learned a lot in London.
Line, Mia, Bethan, Helen - thank you for bothering me in London! :D

Today I had a bad migraine..
My medicine friends:
“Stop drinking caffeine you idiot, and it’s your own fault for not sleeping for two days. If you won’t take pain killers than I don’t want to hear about it.” (after I refused to take pain killers as they make me sick)
My nursing friends:
“Do you need me to get you a blanket? Turn the heater on? Look, I’m going to go and get lunch, you nap on the couch, and we’ll come in the backdoor so you don’t have to get up. And I’ll make you something, does fettucini sound good? And oh, I have this great oil stuff that you rub on your head and it makes it better as I know you don’t like taking analgesics.”
True story, verbatim. And very accurate.
Unfortunately the oil actually worked. *sighs* I hate non-pharmacological shit.
