1. This jacket deserves a blog post of it’s own for two reasons. Firstly, and I know we’ve all read those women’s magazines where the interviewed is asked to pinpoint their best buy, because this would probably be the answer if ever I were asked that question. It was relatively cheap, because I bought it at a garage sale last summer, and it has served me well ever since. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly because the amount of compliments I’ve gotten on it is downright ridiculous. I agree that it’s a lovely jacket, wholeheartedly agree, but this is really insane. Normally people don’t comment much on my clothes. Or anyone’s clothes for that matter. And so it really makes an impression when people comment on this one. And they do. Big time. I mean, there was a random lady at the railway station who came over and struck up a conversation about this jacket! It’s not even an expensive one if you look at the label, it’s not designer or even remotely high end. It’s not even real wool. Anyways, I guess what I wanted to say with this jacket appreciation post is that it’s awesome getting compliments.
